52 - CLIC Groundbreaking

A groundbreaking ceremony for the Collaborative Learning and Innovation Center (CLIC), held on Monday, June 3, 2024, signaled a significant milestone in the school’s ongoing goal of thinking forward about elementary education. Several hundred parents and guests, along with the entire student body, past and present members of the board of trustees, and Curtis faculty and staff, watched as three groups representing our community--students from each grade, current trustees, and Curtis teachers who partnered in designing the CLIC—joined Dr. Ratnesar to turn the soil at the site of the future structure. The CLIC is an innovative new center that will bring together Curtis's core arts, science, and technology programs and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration among students, faculty, and staff through thoughtfully designed spaces that support cross-disciplinary teaching and learning.
