  • Director of Advancement

    Reporting to the Head of School, the Director of Advancement (DOA) works closely with the Head of School and the Board of Trustees, including staffing the Advancement Committee. The DOA provides visionary leadership to the advancement of the school’s mission, vision, and goals while at the same time deepening consistent relations (parents, grandparents, parents of alumni, alumni, and friends) in coordination with communications and marketing programs. The DOA also serves as liaison to the Parents Associaton, although these duties may be shifted in an office realignment.

Southern California Diversity Recruiting Fair 2024

Curtis School is pleased to announce that it will participate in the sixth annual Southern California Diversity Recruiting Fair 2024. This fair aims to recruit faculty, staff, and administrators from underrepresented groups to create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environment that is critical to student success and a marker of educational excellence. More than 50 Los Angeles independent schools will participate in the fair.

The event will be held both in person and virtually. Local attendees can attend the event in person on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. And for all other attendees, the event will be held virtually on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

The fair will offer attendees the opportunity to participate in a resume and interview skill-building workshop and hear from panelists on a variety of topics relevant to working in an independent school.
