At Curtis, we recognize that we share a precious snapshot of time in the lives of our young people and we value childhood. Conscious that we have been entrusted with this precious and fleeting time, we remain committed to providing the best educational experience possible for Development Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Elementary students that is rich in every academic discipline, athletics, and the arts.
We aspire for each student to graduate with four learning outcomes: Intellectual Literacy, Human Literacy, Wellness literacy and Cultural Literacy. To support these learning outcomes, we offer a well-rounded curriculum that is deftly designed and taught by our dynamic and talented faculty, who are uniquely dedicated to these early and formative years of child development.

Our students are intimately involved in the daily life of the school in ways that help to nurture an inclusive community and promote the building of character and socially responsible citizens. Both in the classroom and through a thoughtful program of service opportunities, Curtis students understand and grow into their roles as purposeful collaborators in an ever-changing and interconnected world.
Curtis is entering its 95th year. I feel honored and privileged to be part of such a warm and diverse community. Each day on campus, I am impressed by the magnitude of joy that fills the hearts and minds of students, teachers, staff and parents. I welcome you to our campus and hope to share this joy with you. May your exploring our website be the start of an incredible journey in coming to know and understand Curtis School.
