30 - Pavilion Groundbreaking

On a sunny June day in 1995, a crowd of Curtis parents, students, faculty, and trustees joined together singing “Dig, Dig, Dig” to the tune of “Row, “Row, Row Your Boat,” as 10 students, one from each of grades DK-8, stepped forward with hard hats and shovels to break ground for the construction of our multi-purpose auditorium/gymnasium, later named the Kissick Pavilion.
