10 - Lunch Time at Beverly Place

In the 1940s, students at the Beverly Place campus enjoyed lunch time with a service of milk from a bow-tied attendant. Unlike the original campus, Beverly Place did not have a kitchen where a catered lunch was prepared and served. In this photo, students are eating homemade meals brought to school in an assortment of old-style metal lunchboxes and thermoses.
