47 - International Lunch Day

International Lunch Day is a favorite tradition at Curtis, and it’s easy to understand why. It’s a day filled with the rhythms of music, the dazzle of colors, tempting aromas, and bountiful good will — a time to celebrate and honor the beautiful and diverse tapestry of our Curtis community. Food stations are gaily adorned with colorful cloths, banners, lanterns, pictures, and cultural artifacts representing the world’s continents, regions, and countries. Students, parents/guardians, and faculty and staff may choose to wear the clothing of their heritage. Tables groan under the weight of a myriad of enticing dishes prepared and served with love by Curtis parents and guardians. It is no wonder that our alumni count this 20-plus-year tradition as among their most cherished memories.
