31 - Renaissance Faire 1993

A bird’s eye view of the 1993 Renaissance Faire taken from the top of the Ferris wheel conjures a sense of nostalgia for simpler but no less relished times. Visible in this photo on the site of the future Kissick Pavilion are a petting zoo under the striped canopy, a castle bounce-house at the far right, and a mini swing ride in the foreground. In the background, a funny little train runs in front of the grassy area that now includes the Geodesic Dome and 6th Grade basketball court.
