Hot Lunch

Curtis is pleased to offer a Hot Lunch Program that provides an optional lunch service for students every school day. The Parents Association organizes volunteer parents and guardians to help out with lunch service.

Hot Lunch Program

Families may purchase lunches in advance for their children from Freshlunches, the school's third party caterer. Menu offerings are varied and include both hot and cold selections daily. Lunch selections include some gluten-free options.

Each lunch consists of one entree, two sides including choices of fresh fruits, vegetables or salad, and water or milk. Ingredients and nutritional information are available in menus and on Freshlunches's website

Please direct any questions about the Hot Lunch Program, or about volunteering to help serve Hot Lunch to our students, to the Parents Association Hot Lunch Committee.

Volunteer to Serve Hot Lunch

The Parents Association Hot Lunch Committee welcomes parents and guardians to help us serve Hot Lunch! Serving Hot Lunch is a great way to see your children in action at school while also helping out. Volunteers should plan to stay for the entire Lower Elementary lunch period—from 11:15 a.m. to approximately 12 noon.

Parent and guardian volunteers serve lunch throughout the school year. In addition, during Book Spree Week in mid-winter, two special days are reserved for just dads and just grandparents to serve Hot Lunch to the students.
