A Snow Day at School

Incredible as it sounds, snow appeared overnight at Curtis again this year! Developmental Kindergartners and Kindergartners were greeted by a winter wonderland on the lower courts, where blocks of ice had been turned into a powdery snow scene complete with a sledding hill and repurposed holiday trees. Shouts of glee came from all corners of the snowy patch, as students took turns riding saucers down the hill, made snow angels and pelted each other (and their teachers!) with snowballs. This annual Snow Day at Curtis is a favorite, memory-making tradition for our youngest students and we suspect that it will snow here once again come next January.
