I am delighted that you are interested in learning more about Curtis School and our admissions process.
Curtis is a family school of happy children, enthusiastic teachers, supportive administrators, and active parent volunteers. Working together in a warm, nurturing environment, we pursue our educational goal of "a sound mind in a sound body governed by a compassionate heart."
Applications are available beginning August 18th. We accept the first 200 returned applications into the applicant pool for Developmental Kindergarten and Kindergarten. The deadline for grades 1-6 is December 15th. DK and Kindergarten applicants will visit us once for a short individual session with a member of our faculty. Students applying for grades 1-6 will be given a standardized test.
All applicants must have recommendations from their previous schools in addition to one personal family reference. After an application has been submitted, the parents of all applicants must schedule a tour of the campus and an interview with the admissions department. This allows time for parents to see and learn more about Curtis and for us to share information in a relaxed atmosphere.
