Experiential Education Director,
Charley Martin
Charley Martin develops and manages the Outdoor Education & Field Studies Program, Community Service Program, Student Leadership, Emergency Preparedness Education, Environmental Education and Values Education. He has facilitated groups of children in the experiential education field for more than ten years at schools and camps. His primary focus as an educator is on leadership, character development and critical thinking skills.
The Curtis School Experiential Education Programs engage Curtis School students in direct experience to increase knowledge, develop skills and clarify values. Values are woven into outdoor education and field study trips, community service work, student leadership groups, lessons in environmental education, emergency preparedness trainings, and team building activities.
